We provide a completely different space where you can “refresh” what it means to be a friend, a student, a community member, and most importantly, a valued human being.
Project re:Fresh was first launched by Seen52 in contract with Alameda County Office of Education for the 2021-22 school year. We offered project-based learning and explicit SEL support which we felt was very important for youth coming back to in-person schooling especially for those impacted by the foster care system and/or unstable housing.

In our first two years, we expanded into running regular after-school programs in Oakland and Hayward, full-day summer camps, and various pop-ups in Oakland and Pleasanton. In addition, we provided services and outings through the Winter break and 1:1 coaching for older youth.
